Born in Antwerp, Belgium and came to the USA in 1949. Became a U. S. citizen in 1954. Resided and went to High School and College in New York. Currently lives in Nashville, TN since 1968. As a teen-ager, took enameling classes at the 92nd St. Y in NYC, and later, workshops with Kenneth Bates, Bill Helwig, Galina Selezneva, Maureen Carswell and others.
